ICVCalc -Embrapa is a tool developed for building inventories of agricultural products for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies . Created by the LCA thematic team at Embrapa Environment , ICVCalc-Embrapa is a web-based system that organizes and processes data to build inventories of agricultural processes, essential for conducting LCA studies.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a methodology that estimates the potential environmental impacts of products and services. It is based on quantifying the input and output flows of materials and energy throughout the transformation and transportation processes, between the technological environment and the natural environment.

The ICVCalc-Embrapa system allows for the accounting of inputs of natural and technological resources, as well as outputs of products, co-products, and waste. The system generates inventories of agricultural processes in a format compatible with the ecoinvent database and allows for the export of this data in CSV format for use in LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) software.
